Expecting Just Response to take up the running with Bondasong and Inception close at hand.
Bomb-proof three-year-old JUST RESPONSE (1) returned from an 18-week spell and made it two wins and three placings from five runs when he led from barrier to box over 1200m at Gosford last start. Takes on older horses today but it is not an issue at this stage of the season. Looks the winner again. PRINCESS CRUIZER (4) added to her outstanding record over this course and distance when she took out a similar race here three weeks ago, storming home to score in the shadows. Carries the same weight so another big run would appear likely. The sparingly raced BONDASONG (3) has been competitive over 1000m at his last couple of outings. Better placed at today's journey and from gate one he gets all the favours. UP TO MISCHIEF (5) resumed with an eye-catcher over 1200m at Gosford recently. Hasn't won for around two years but she looks to be back in fine fettle so worth following. INCEPTION (7) will need this hit-out but from a good gate can get a cheap run and fill a minor placing. SUGGESTED PLAY: Just Response to salute again.
