Plenty of pace from Vide, Red Ister and Blessed Nile primarily. RED ISTER (1) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 10 starts. Was again denied last start when he found one better over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Not much depth to this line-up so he should be saluting at last. LUMINEUSE (12) returns after a spell of three-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt. Likely to be prominent. BILLINGS (10) is a handy type who resumes after a break of six-and-a-half months. Only appeared once last prep when he finished sixth over 2400m at Tokyo, beaten 4.5 lengths. Has won when fresh from a spell in the past and should be involved in the finish. SONG COLLECTOR (2) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a 14th over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt after being up on the pace until straightening. One for the exotics.
