NIGHT SLUGGER (12) is yet to find the winners' list this time in work but has two placings from three runs, finishing 1.1 lengths away in third most recently over 2000m at Chukyo. Cherry ripe and ready to win. CON FORZA (15) is back after a break of five months. Looking to emulate his win at this track at the beginning of last prep. Sure to make his presence felt. MEINER FULL MOON (4) made progress last start to finish second over 1800m at Hanshin. Meets a stronger field but he is up to the task. TSURUMAU KATACHI (6) was out of the money two runs back when fresh from a spell then again missed the frame last start over 1600m at Nakayama, beaten 4 lengths into fourth. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
