Solid tempo with Sister Shay leading from This Time Girl and Oh Too Good. Tricky little mare's race. MERRIGOLD (2) is the one in good form that looks likely to hold it. She won well with 60kg two back, getting home strongly in a good race last week at Flemington behind Big Swinger and King Zephyr. Back against her own sex now, she probably doesn't have to get right back and can run another strong race. ROLL ON HIGH (7) resumes. Her racing pattern doesn't see her win many but the peak performances are there to say she can. Her 1400m form reads well, beaten a head during Cup week at Flemington in a Group 3. Look for her charging late. OH TOO GOOD (1) presents third up. Jury is a little bit out on how she's going. We can excuse first up over 1100m in a sprint home and she was wide no cover in a fast race at Caulfield last time. Third up is typically when she's peaked, expect she pushes right forward now. LADY JONES (6) was okay fresh and maps well, next best from SISTER SHAY (9) who could stick on for a placing if left alone. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed trifecta 2, 7 and 1.
