Rock In Wonder and Beyond The Limits can lead the small field. MACCIATEAU (3) hasn't won for over a year, though his recent form has been stronger than the results on paper suggest. Pike now hops on board in what looks a golden opportunity for him to return to winning ways. Looks to get every chance from the draw and looks the one to beat. ROYAL TROOPER (4) bolted in two back at Pinjarra before a 5L defeat over this track and trip as the race favourite most recently. The inside draw should suit and Nottle's claim sees him right down in the weights. Can play a leading role once again. ROCK IN WONDER (2) gets the winkers on for the first time today following a disappointing performance in the Geraldton Cup most recently. Riordan's claim comes in handy and a forward showing is on the cards. DARK LOOKS (1) is racing in good order and she won't be far away if she runs up to her recent form. BEYOND THE LIMITS (5) bolted in to win in easier company a Narrogin last time out and is not to be discounted. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Macciateau in the opener.
