Pine Valley and Mangione to battle for the leading role. VIZIE (8) doesn't make a habit of winning, but rarely runs poorly and the last start fourth over 2200m at this track was good enough to have her in the mix here. HELPING HANDS (4) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 9 lengths away in seventh over 1746m at Sale but is a son of Tarzino who's always shaped as if this trip would suit. PATSY'S STAR (1) has logged back to back wins in 56 grade, the latest by 4 lengths when dominant on-speed, and he'll give a sight again. JENNY THE BEAVER (6) is at her best over further than this, but ran nicely first-up over 1600m, so another good run would not shock. SHREWSBURY ROAD (7) has run well in better races than this before and has the benefit of a couple of runs beyond this trip this campaign, so will be strong at the end. SUGGESTED PLAY: Vizie each way.
