Keen tempo with Bacash and Fastobullet prominent. GOLD COAST BELLE (7) is a very progressive filly who can measure up to these. She's won her past two, sitting on speed at Caulfield against the older mares last start and putting a gap on them in the straight. She keeps hinting there's more to offer and she should take beating again. BACASH (3) looks a danger. Two runs back have been full of merit, beaten a head fresh at Flemington then sticking on gamely for third behind a very talented one last time. 1400m third up is perfect and he draws to sit in the first few with ease. TRAPDOOR (11) sat on speed in a very slow race over 1600m last time and dashed well. The win prior over Nobler reads quite well with that horse winning in Sydney last Saturday and back to a strongly run 1400m could suit better. Wary of THE VOLTA (15) who charged home first up at Mornington over 1200m. The second to Sass Appeal before a spell reads very well now. BEL MEZYAAN (12) was unsuited back in trip last time as favourite, look for improvement from a good draw SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Gold Coast Belle & Bacash.
