Tactical given the lack of speed. TENENBAUM (1) returned for his second prep with a dominant 3.5 len on-pace victory over 1200m at Wyong from a sticky gate. Looks to take control early here from a low draw. Hard to stop on his home track and impressed after the recent trial win here. THE ROARING SUN (2) fresh for this. Savaged the line from back in the field on debut with a narrow second over 1300m at Warwick Farm a month ago. Kept ticking over with a recent 1000m trial at Hawkesbury. Can race a touch closer and shapes as the main danger. THE THORNCASTER (5) sent north for his second race start with a closing second over 1400m at Eagle Farm. Close to his top now and sure to be thereabouts. NATIONS LEAGUE (3) returned good closing splits first-up with an eye catching third over 1200m at Warwick Farm. Ready to stretch out in trip and give a good account at the each way quote. GRAFOLOGY (7) improver if he can jump cleanly. Looking for this trip and further now. SUGGESTED PLAY: Tenenbaum should prove too sharp for these.
