They look to roll along early with Hakata Bay and Cosmic Pursuit leading the charge. COSMIC PURSUIT (3) is a lightly tried and progressive gelding who has relished stepping up to a middle distance. He was a game third in a tougher field at Ellerslie 4 weeks ago, and he looks to be the one to beat in this. HERO OF WAR (10) was out of the money but was not beaten far at Ellerslie 2 weeks ago, when they were not running on that day. The extra 500m is ideal, and she can get the job done here at good value. BRADLEY (1) won in this grade at Trentham in early January, and his 3 subsequent runs have been in tougher fields, where his efforts have not been too bad. Stick with him on his return to this level. DUBAI GOLD (6) improved quickly with the winkers on for the first time here 15 days ago when running on into third place over 1600m. This is easier, and she can figure in the top 3 again. HAKATA BAY (5) got back along the inside at Ellerslie a fortnight ago over 1600m, and never featured. He can settle to the outside of runners this time, and he can make amends. Include.
