Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by True To Form. WEIGALL TIGER (4) hasn't won in four starts this prep which is a drought by his standards. Had his chance last start but was a bit weak at the end of a mile. Record at 1400m reads five wins from 12. Prefer it if the track was dry but he is the class runner and should be hard to stop. COSMO CENTAURUS (14) finished powerfully to just get up last time out over 1200m at this track. Has improvement to come at the third run back. Unproven at this distance but the last effort suggests he is ready for the challenge. CHARCOALS (5) hasn't enjoyed the best of luck at his last couple of appearances. Genuine gelding when right and off a five-week freshen up might be ready to produce. TRUE TO FORM (15) is going very well this prep including a game second here at this trip last time. All the decent form is on good tracks so monitor track conditions closer to post time. GRAMMAR LAD (19) is in rare form but is an unknown quantity on soft tracks. SUGGESTED PLAY: Most of the chances have question marks - Weigall Tiger each-way but it is tricky.
