Strong tempo expected from O'riordan, Awesome Lineup and The Entertainer. VILLASANTI (5) took a long time to win his first race, and has now won 3 of his last 4 starts. He has never missed a top 3 cheque in 13 starts, and from a handy gate, he can close to completing a hat-trick. INCREDIBLE (6) capped off some strong form when breaking his win drought at Ashburton by a nose there 16 days ago. He is a bit of a thinker, but another good run can be expected. BALLISTIC MISS (9) was a touch above herself last time out, but was cleared to run after a vet inspection, and was still too good, scoring by a nose over 1600m at Ashburton. She only cops an extra 1.5kg, and she can repeat the dose. THE ENTERTAINER (1) ran a much better race for second behind the third pick last start, and her record here is even better. The extra 200m is ideal, and she can turn the tables. TAVI ANN (12) ran on without any favours here 3 weeks ago over 2000m, and she should be at her peak for her third start in the South Island.
