ICARIAN DREAM (2) met with strong support but couldn't end a win drought when runner-up over 1350m at Doomben three weeks ago. Backs up a bit quicker this time and Eagle Farm is a better fit. One last chance. KOHLER KID (6) missed the kick then came wide and blew away his rivals when first-up in a $100k race over this distance at Rockhampton. Drops 4kgs so although up in grade he will be hard to hold out again on a soft track which will suit. STATE VISIT (1) has been safely held in his two runs this time in work, both at Listed level. Beaten a lip in the ATC Sires as a two-year-old so he has the class, but a firmer track would be desirable. HE'S TRU BLUE (9) missed the start and was never a factor when resuming over 1200m at this track recently. Can run a better race from the nice draw with a feather weight. ADORABLE THOUGHT (8) resumes. Opened the last campaign with a big win on soft ground at Doomben. Two trials should have her up to the mark. SUGGESTED PLAY: Putting faith in Icarian Dream.
