Moderate tempo expected with Aima Sun likely to find the front over Best Coffee and Bit Of Grunt. Competitive. AIMA SUN (8) was outgraded in a rich feature at Rockhampton last time but went back-to-back here prior and winning by spaces. He can skip over and control the race and get back on track. MR BUBBALUSKI (2) jumped a $3.4F and led over 1400m at the Sunshine Coast, finishing 2 lengths from the winner in second. Draws low and won his only start on this surface. He can go one better. EFFIE'S JOY (9) has won this course and distance and went close here on the turf last time. Will get a soft run from the rails barrier and should be right in it. BIT OF GRUNT (3) has been racing well at the Sunshine Coast from cruel barriers. Finally has a handy gate and Thornton goes aboard. He's a decent chance to bounce. PRESSALONG (5) has been going well at country level in NSW and will be around the mark. SUGGESTED PLAY: Leaning to Aima Sun.
