Strong early tempo with Kastun Star and Eleanor Dumont leading the way. DESIGNS OF EIGHT (9) resumed much improved easily winning this grade over 1200m at Colac. Came home powerfully and will be looking to sit closer today. Suited over the longer sprint and is proven second-up. KASTUN STAR (4) resumes and is up to this if presented forward. Has three jumpouts under the saddle and a handy gate. The 4kg claim brings him right into it. ELEANOR DUMONT (6) resumes and led and just missed here over a mile before the spell. Won over this trip prior and has placed both jumpouts. Egan sticks from the latest and she can go on with the job this preparation for a smart yard. KIJIVU (7) led and deserved his Maiden with at Ararat as a $3 favourite. Meech will have him on-speed again and he is likely to give a sight. SUGGESTED PLAY: Designs Of Eight to win.
