Has a fine record here with three wins from nine starts. Sure to go well. TOP AMERICAN (1) turned in a fine effort to score by 2.5 lengths at today's course and distance last start in a far better run. Taking on a better field but he is worth serious consideration. SHOSAN KIZUNA (5) finished seventh last time out over 1300m at this track three weeks ago. Steps up in journey today. Masayoshi Yamasaki who has five wins when partnering stays on. One of the main contenders. HARUNO SAMSON (6) hasn't been able to break through for a while, the latest effort a seventh over 1400m at this track. Placed to advantage so expect a better run this time.
