Strong pace from Parisienne Piper booting up with The Publican coming across. BLUEPRINT (7) built on a nice second two starts back at Ipswich with success over 1800m at Sunshine Coast a week-and-a-half ago, getting home by a nose. Frederick Larson scored on him last time and retains the ride. Finds an easier assignment and can get the job done again. PARISIENNE PIPER (6) started favourite last time but found one better over 1460m at Esk. Will appreciate the extra ground and is sure to run well. HURRICANE ROSIE (2) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing second and beaten only a nose over 2230m at Grafton after being in the firing line on the bend. Finds an easier assignment and can take the next step and salute. BATTLESPACE (5) was prominent at the bend and finished second last time over 1600m at Gatton when resuming from a spell, beaten 1.4 lengths. Will trim down second-up. Placed to advantage so expect another forward showing. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boxed Trifecta 7,6,2,5.
