Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by Daimei Otohime. NANGOKU TOP GUN (1) held on well to finish second last time out over 1300m at this track after leading for much of the way. Will take catching. PHERKAD (10) doesn't win very often but ran a strong race last time out over 1400m at this track, finishing second and beaten a nose after being prominent at the turn. Finds a suitable race and can find the winner's circle. DAIMEI OTOHIME (7) raced on the speed from the outset last start and finished third, beaten 5.5 lengths, over 1300m at this track. Nicely placed to go a couple better. SUN THIRA (9) was well found in the betting last time out but could only manage to finish fifth over 1400m at this track in a disappointing performance. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a major role.
