Abundant pace from Command Approved, Crowie's Shout and Lumens Lenny vying for the lead with I Am Voodoo on their backs. SIR MAURICE (6) was expected to win a 55 at the Sunshine Coast and was beaten a whisker. That stacks right up, and he tumbles in weight. Finally draws a decent gate, and he can go one better. FAMOUS PEDRILLE (3) is free running and brings a big CL4 win here on the turf. He's placed this course/distance and he's capable of repeating the dose. LUMENS LENNY (4) didn't run out the mile at Doomben but was heading in the right direction prior. He's also up to this. SUJEED (8) peaks and is going better than the form line suggests. Has a low barrier and the blinkers on again. The in-form Williams is a positive jockey engagement. PYROIS (5) gets some key gear changes and has switched to Michael Freedman. Had excuses last time and keep safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Sir Maurice.
