Mediterranean to take the lead and control the tempo. BULLET PASS (3) is putting together some solid results. Finished second at Nakayama two starts back then landed the prize by a neck as public elect last time out over 1800m at Kyoto. Facing a tougher assignment but he is up to the task. NOCHE CERRADA (5) resumed last time out and finished fourth over 2400m at Tokyo at Gr 2 level, beaten 4.5 lengths. Big drop in class today. Ticks all the right boxes. ASKCOMMENTALLEZVOU (9) was doing his best work late last start to get up for second over 2200m at Kyoto. Yutaka Take stays aboard. Certainly one to consider. MEDITERRANEAN (4) is struggling to break through but hasn't been far away, the latest effort a second, beaten 1.5 lengths, over 2000m at Kyoto. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Can feature in the finish.
