Expecting Transatlantic to set a genuine tempo after crossing from wide out. REGAL AWARD (18) was ridden closer the pace and responded by recording a dominant win in the Group 3 Fred Best for three-year-olds over this course and distance last start. Pitchforked in on 49.5kgs. Great chance in what is clearly his biggest test to date. HEADLEY GRANGE (7) drove hard late and just nailed Jimmysstar in the Group One Kingsford Smith over 1300m here last start. Doesn't seem harshly treated on 55kgs and he can improve off that last success as it came off a six-week break. KING OF ROSEAU (10) drew the car park and was out of his comfort zone at WFA in the Kinsford Smith Cup. Far better placed today and is worth throwing in at massive odds. SPICY MARTINI (16) ran out of her skin in the Doomben 10,000. Lightly raced mare who has a G1 in her and at the weights from gate two this could be it. ESTADIO MESTALLA (11) is untested at this level but won't know himself with today's weight. Blinkers back on a sign of intent from the Joe Pride stable. SUGGESTED PLAY: Regal Award each-way.
