Reasonable tempo with a few going forward, headed by El Speedy Man. MUTEKI (15) won a trial prior to her bold debut effort for third here nearly 3 weeks ago over 1300m. She will naturally improve with the experience, and she won't be in this class for long. On top for us. MISS PARKER (10) resumed with a solid finish for fourth at Ellerslie 3 weeks ago. She likes it wet, and her first win is not far away. Each way. LAURA (14) will have a fitness edge over some of her rivals, and a wet track is no problem. She needs to strengthen up some more, but she is still good enough to win a maiden like this. EL SPEEDY MAN (1) followed up a decent debut for second with an even better effort to fill the same placing 10 days ago, both times on the Cambridge poly track. His trial form on turf has been good, and he can go one better in this. SUGGESTED PLAY: El Speedy Man each way.
