Track: SOFT 6   Clouds (Max: 16)   Rail: +10m Entire.

Fast tempo assured with Cool Memory, Battle Commander and Major Mario going toe-to-toe. CORRECT CHOICE (9) was far too good last time out, rounding them up and winning with ease in the WA Day Cup and posting a strong figure in the process. Martinan's claim sees him right down in the weights here and if he can run up to his last start rating, he can repeat the dose. OUR PALADIN AL (5) is better than he showed last start in the Hyperion Stakes and should appreciate the easier company today. If he can sit closer today fourth-up into the campaign, he can get back to his best form and make his presence felt. OPPORTUNISTIC (4) showed glimpses of his old form last start after a few disappointing efforts in a row. He now gets Pike on board from a good draw and the rise in distance is a big tick. Wouldn't surprise to see him get back to winning form. COOL MEMORY (1) returned in good order here last start with a strong front-running effort. Will take catching again. SNIPPY WHICH (6) is racing in good order and can't be left out of calculations. SUGGESTED PLAY: Correct Choice can bring up back-to-back wins.
