GOING: S(7)

NEILO 1600m

Track: SOFT 7     Out 4m

Genuine tempo from Cezanne leading Four Square Pete. PRINCE OF DIAMONDS (2) made full use of an inside draw last start, settling in the perfect position before lifting late to score over 1400m at New Plymouth. He maps to receive a good run again, and he has the scope to repeat the dose. PLATINUM SIXTY SIX (1) was prominent throughout when finishing third over 1700m at Awapuni Synthetic and he will be peaking third up from a spell. He is nicely placed as a winner of 5 races, and on a track that he likes, he can figure in the top 3 again. CEZANNE (8) showed plenty of grit to break through for her maiden success last time, getting the job done by the narrowest of margins over 1340m when leading all the way at this track. Lightly raced and still improving, she has the potential to take another step forward despite a wide draw. OUTER FOCUS (5) resumed with a strong second over 1600m at Waipukurau and should strip fitter for that outing. This is a tougher, but another good run is expected. PERFECT PETE (10) is ready third up. Each way value. SUGGESTED PLAY: Prince Of Diamonds to win again.
