MEISHO JINRAI (10) resumed from a spell last start with a sound second over 1900m at Kyoto Dirt, closing the race off with great purpose. Nicely placed to take this out. PIENA ORCA (6) improved last time out, finishing 1.3 lengths from the winner in second at the end of 1800m at Niigata Dirt after being in contention on the corner. Anticipating another big run. MATENRO HOUR (16) improved last start to finish second over 1800m at Kyoto Dirt. Starting to put it all together - just needs luck from a wide gate. RAVIE ENCORE (12) was unwanted in betting on debut last start but ran a strong race, finishing third and beaten 2 lengths over 1900m at Kyoto Dirt. Among the chances.
