OLSEN COMMERCIAL 3YO 1360m Track: SOFT 7 Out 4m |

A strong gallop is likely with Came True and Skattebo taking up the running, closely attended by Flyhalf and Belles Boom. SKATTEBO (1) took another step forward when winning a similar race at New Plymouth 3 weeks ago. He will be chasing a hat-trick after consecutive victories, and from a good gate with only an extra kilo to carry, he can get the job done again. MIDNIGHT TRAIN (2) has been knocking on the door with a series of consistent performances and was again runner-up over 1600m at New Plymouth after enjoying a favourable run throughout. He looks ideally placed and can take this out. BELLES BOOM (3) resumed in good order when beaten less than half a length into second at Otaki over 1200m. With that run under her belt and a likely economical run just behind the speed, she should be highly competitive again. ROC ALL NIGHT (5) worked home well to finish second over 1340m at this track last time and if he can settle a touch closer from the pole position, then he can go one better here. BELLA'S BOY (6) tried hard when finishing second as the favourite fresh up when peaking late on is run. Stick with him. SUGGESTED PLAY: Skattebo to win again.
