Solid tempo with several going forward headed by Cremant. BELLA TIMING (3) resumes after a decent spell, but she has been performing well enough at the local jump-outs held at her home course. She has not missed a cheque in 3 starts fresh up in the past, and she will be ready to rumble. IM BARTHOLOMEW (5) exceeded market expectations when resuming with a narrow second over 1200m at New Plymouth 3 weeks ago. He won is only 2 starts last spring, and he looks more than capable of racing his way right through the grades this winter. ALBAROSSA (4) has been very well placed to win his last couple of starts in BM65 company, and with 2.5kg less to carry with the step up in class, he is on target to make it a hat-trick. CYPRESS (2) has not been seen since placing at Otaki last September but has trialled well in preparation for his return. The wetter the better for this fellow, and his astute stable will ensure that he is ready to run a big race fresh. BENERRO (6) lifted late to score a gutsy win at Otaki 4 weeks ago. Stick with him.
