WITCH OF NOVEMBER (4) turned in a strong run last time at the first run of the prep when she settled well back before running on hard to be beaten only a long neck into second over 1065m at Wagga Riverside. Expected to prove tough to hold out again. SCREEN SPIRIT (3) crossed from an outside draw last time to stalk the lead before drawing clear to win at Wagga Riverside. Have to take seriously. TERESPRIT (8) finished third at Corowa two runs back but was less effective last time. Best figures measure up, so keeping safe. ALTROVE (5) has been in the market at her last couple of starts but hasn't made an impression, last start running fourth at Wodonga. Can sneak into the finish.
