The pace looks even at best given a lack of early speed. Most are struggling for form while the honest ANPHINA (5) is bursting to win one. Has wound up strongly for back-to-back seconds at the last two and can go one better. MAX ROCK (8) was well in the market here last time and after getting shuffled back just ambled home and was beaten a long way. The form prior in tougher races in Alice is good for this and gets chance to bounce back. FABERGE TZAR (4) wasn't far away here last time off a wide gate and draws much better. Can improve sharply. MACHINE MAN (3) ran a much improved race second-up and should be at top now. Gets a chance. KIEFFER (2) was beaten a long way latest but has the ability and is a major player on best figures. THE ALBION (7) wasn't far away latest and has a strong record at course and distance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Stick with Anphina.
