DEMMO DERMY (3) settled just off the pace then let down nicely to win his maiden last start over 1300m at the Illawarra Grange circuit. Lightly raced four-year-old who is putting it together now and can move on to this next level. ELLISMAYNE (7) got too far back due to an awkward start but did make late inroads to be beaten under three lengths over this trip at the Illawarra Grange last time out. Very fit after three runs back. Winning hope if things fall his way from a tricky gate. THE CRISTAL (8) did a good job to work home into third when resuming in heavy conditions at Hawkesbury recently. Scored a big win second-up last prep so there is more to come. French import MISS CHASTAIN (1) last raced in November. Lightly raced mare whose recent trial behind Snow In May was solid. Betting the key indicator. CHEVAL DE BOIS (2) is back for a second campaign off a 23-week break. Showed plenty of promise when last in work. No surprise if he made a positive return. SUGGESTED PLAY: Sticking with Demmo Dermy.
