Without a great deal of early pace evident Master Johnny may lead the way over The Prospect. MASTER JOHNNY (1) raced handy but couldn't quicken in heavy going on debut last time out over 1300m at Kembla. Perfectly drawn and the slightly longer trip shouldn't bother him. Can improve enough to play a significant role. STABILITY (2) has been freshened up since dropping out over 1500m at this track six weeks ago. Beaten under two lengths at Gosford the run prior - in the mix on that form. HARD SHELL (8) appreciated the return to provincial company when a respectable sixth over 1300m at Illawarra Grange recently. Cherry ripe and should give a good account. THE PROSPECT (3) was safely held first-up on a heavy track at Scone but can improve with that run under his belt. SUGGESTED PLAY: Master Johnny to win.
