Solid tempo with Funshow possessing enough dash to find the front. A small field lines up here and PEACE BIRD (7) looks the one to beat on recent efforts. She just missed two back at Gosford before bumping into a good winner last start on the Illawarra Grange when favourite. Should get her chance here with only the four runners. FUNSHOW (2) couldn't go on with the job first-up off a short break when ending up 5.2L off the winner. He's bolted in at the trials since however and his best runs have been on his home deck here. Can bounce back in a big way. BEYOND PERFECTION (1) is the unknown of the race and has been well educated for the Waterhouse and Bott yard. Wouldn't surprise to see him in this for a very long way. OAKFIELD MARS (6) is the outsider of the field, but anything can happen in a race like this. SUGGESTED PLAY: Peace Bird goes on top.
