Only a small field with El Rocko likely to find a comfortable lead. Tricky little race. EL ROCKO (4) was heavily backed on the heavy track at Caulfield but was a touch disappointing, albeit you needed to be as wide as possible there. Happy to take that effort with a grain of salt and expect him to be back at his best. Loves this going and will take beating. COEUR VOLANTE (3) was big odds but ran a great race fresh in Listed company. At her best she's very good and the fresh run said she might be back, keeping safe. PUNCH LANE (1) hasn't fired in two runs back off a long break but could be ready to show something. GRID GIRL (7) was solid fresh in the Meridius race and should improve off that. SUGGESTED PLAY: El Rocko gets the nod.
