Strong tempo assured with Miley's Memory, Vein Girl and Hi Tiago rolling to the front. WINCHMAN (5) was only a long neck from the winner in second last time out in a small field over 1100m at Ipswich at the first run of the campaign on heavy going. Has a decent record at this circuit with four minor placings from five runs and will give backers a sight. VEIN GIRL (11) returned from a break with an eighth over 1000m at Eagle Farm, weakening right out of it after leading early. Draws the inside marble and will give backers a sight. CHILLED WITH ICE (2) is first-up here and looks well placed on the form he was in at the end of last campaign. Untested on a heavy deck, but he's relished soft going in the past and he can return with a bang. HI TIAGO (8) is not to be discounted first-up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Winchman.
