WTR THANKS THE CASTLES FAMILY 2400m Track: SOFT 7 Out 4m |

Expecting Uhtred to set a genuine tempo after crossing from wide out. FREE BIRD (9) has turned the corner after a confidence boosting BM60 win 3 starts back at Ellerslie, and after a narrow miss after that, he was nose winner again at that track a week ago. The rise in class holds no fear for him, and with 2.5kg less to carry, he can win again. HEZA SHARP ONE (7) will be chasing a hat-trick after back to back solid wins, including his last start here nearly 3 weeks ago. He will also drops down in weight, and with some luck from a wide gate, he can get the job done again. KWANZA (8) was too tough on a very testing track at Hastings just over 3 weeks ago, and in similar conditions, he has to be hard to hold out again. Each way value. CHARLBURY (11) has been very disappointing for ours, yet we still stick with her in the hope that she can find some of her best form again. One more chance for us. GOLD CURRENCY (2) franked his good effort for second fresh up with a last start win at Whanganui 2 weeks ago. He is good enough to repeat the dose. SUGGESTED PLAY: Free Bird is racing in great heart. On top again.
