Insufficient early speed to generate more than a muddling tempo. SURPRISE COMING (1) just missed the bob when resuming short of a best trip here. Better for that and will appreciate stepping out the extra 200m. Draws the A1 and is sure to be right there at the business end. ENNA'S DREAM (8) brings some strong Vic form across the border and won't need to improve much to be winning here. Will appreciate getting her toe into it again. DOBBINAIR (5) was a great winner two back at headquarters but couldn't quite unleash the same turn of foot last time but did have excuses when slow to recover. Willing to forgive. I AM VELVET (3) arrived just in time two back in what has proven a strong form reference. Below her best last time here but strips rock-hard fit now is worth another chance. JAZZ AFFAIR (10) shoulders peaks that measure up and should find this a bit easier back in the home state. Not dismissing. SUGGESTED PLAY: Surprise Coming to go one better.
