Strong tempo assured from Carry On Lizzy and Sunroe leading the charge. LONG SHOT (11) improved to finish third last time over the mile at Wagga. Backs up quickly and strips fitter again. Will need a smart steer from the wide draw but looks a top hope in this line-up. SUNROE (3) struggled last time on the home deck but comes back to the mile today where he was narrowly beaten the start prior. The claim comes in handy and it wouldn't surprise to see him bounce back in a big way. BEACHED AS BRO (4) was far too good last start at Wagga and look primed to go on with the job now. Finds a suitable race and can repeat the dose. BOMERTON (1) is better than he's shown his past couple and can return to his best form. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Long Shot.
