Solid tempo with Mobius Romance to lead but under plenty of pressure in a keen early contest. KIRI MITSU (15) kept coming but just failed to pick up the winner last start over 1400m at this track. Has race fitness on his side now. Ready to go one better. LUNAR PHANTOM (3) came home strongly last start to finish second, beaten 0.8 lengths, over 1200m at Fukushima. Drawn to stalk the leaders. Expected to be in the finish. MILLION GLORY (8) finished second over 1600m at Nakayama two back then missed the frame last time out over 1800m at Fukushima. Will drift back but wind up late. Solid top-three chance. MOBIUS ROMANCE (7) resumes from a spell of three-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish fifth at the latest run over 1200m at Nakayama Dirt. Rates highly on best form and a bright return wouldn't surprise.
