Good early pressure with London's Rascal or Castle Road likely to take up the running. BASSETT HOUND (4) returned with a bang before repeating the dose from last in an easier race last start when rounding them up from last. Out to 1200m today looks a big tick for him and he's a very untapped gelding. Can extend his winning streak. LONG SERVICE LEAF (2) is the main danger following an impressive performance over 1000m here last time out. He's out to 1200m today where he was beaten by a smart one last time he was at this track and trip. Draws well and can continue his strong run of recent form. MONTE TREMEZZO (5) is on resumption today with a nice trial under her belt. She is a fresh winner in the past and Fire won aboard the filly two starts ago. Can make an impression. SOUND OF SPEED (3) was better last time out and can raise the bar again now out to 1200m. CASTLE ROAD (1) comes through a very strong form race last time out and is not to be discounted. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Bassett Hound in the opener.
