SANDOWN-HILLSIDE   13 Jun 2026

GOING: S(7)

Quayclean Handicap 1800m

Track: SOFT7   Rain (Max: 17)   Rail: Out 6m Entire Circuit.

Makdane, Bankers Choice and Pudding can settle forward in a race lacking a designated leader. PUDDING (3) beat a fancied one here last time in a good effort to continue a strong run of form. He's hard to knock and should be right there again. THEDOCTOROFLOVE (5) got home very nicely in a slowly run affair first up at Flemington to grab fourth. He's come back very well and the rise in trip suits albeit he might need one more. BANKERS CHOICE (1) was just behind Pudding last time and is in the mix. MAKDANE (8) was too good fresh and was just 2L off the winner last time at Caulfield. Third-up now and ready to peak with no weight on his back following the claim of Bourke. Wouldn't surprise to see him bounce back to winning ways. SUGGESTED PLAY: Pudding to win.
