Strong pace with Soleil Fighter, Beauty Alliance and Pocketing paving the way. PACKING ANGEL (3) got the job done well over the 1650m journey two back before rising to 1800m where he closed well when 1L away at Happy Valley. Back to this track and trip now, but importantly Purton hops back on board and his best form makes him the one to beat. SAGACIOUS LIFE (1) went through to the Derby after being one of the leading contenders coming in. He's since switched to the Fownes stable and he's won 2/4 at this track and trip. Bowman rides now, the inside draw suits and he carried 59kg to win in this company before going down the 4YO Series path. Leading chance for the new barn. BEAUTY ALLIANCE (7) comes through the same race as Packing Angel last time out and is a winner at this track and trip previously. He should be handy from the outset for Avdulla and he can put his best foot forward. MIGHTY MASTS (8) is racing in top order and can't be discounted.
