Genuine tempo with the speedy Ready To Schipp leading the way. Very open race. NIANCE (4) was shuffled back before the corner then regathered to finish on the placegetters' heels in the 1200m Helen Coughlan here a fortnight ago. Finally draws a good gate and the slightly longer journey is ideal third-up. POSTER GIRL (13) looked a chance but found a couple marginally better on the line in the Helen Coughlan. Needs a bit of luck from the awkward gate but if that fortune comes her way she is good enough to test this field. SUPER SMINK (1) couldn't get warm last start but needs this longer trip now. Might be a surprise packet with Nash taking over. SHE'S GOT PIZZAZZ (8) came from the clouds to grab second in the Helen Coughlan. In contention if she can settle a bit closer today. SUGGESTED PLAY: Niance goes on top.
