JUNE VELOCITY (9) has a touch of class, with top-three form at G1 level to his name. Has a strong affinity with J Takada who keeps the ride. Last appeared when second in the Gr 3 Kokura Jump Stks on 14 February. Track specialist who looks too good for these. SUZUKA HARBIN (2) returns from an 84-day spell. Kicked off the last campaign impressively, getting the prize in a steeplechase at Kokura over 3390m. Genuine jumper with three wins to his name from eight appearances. Key runner. COLLECTANEA (8) comes here off a sound second 35 days back in a steeplechase (2890m) at Niigata. That result came as no surprise after a solid second in a steeplechase (3200m) at Nakayama two starts ago. Leading contender again. MAONO ARASHI (7) wasn't popular in betting but returned from a spell on April 12 with a strong win in a maiden steeplechase (2880m) at Nakayama, scoring by 3.5 lengths. Normally hard to beat with the run under the belt. Expecting further improvement.
