Solid tempo with Mr Magnificence leading from Makhachev and Farsain. MAKHACHEV (5) lightly raced gelding who gets his chance third-up from the low draw. Just over a month between runs when he took control early from the sticky gate before fading to finish fifth over 1400m at Gundagai. Expected to measure up and take catching over this trip. FARSAIN (9) is yet to break through in five runs and finds a much easier race today. Covered ground early and had nothing left in the tank when seventh over 1200m at Kembla Grange. Anywhere near her best can win this. SETTA ICON (7) unlucky not to get the prize two-back when at the Sapphire Coast. Stalked the speed and failed to finish off when a disappointing fifth over 1300m at Kembla Grange. Will drift back and appreciate the good tempo. Each way. FARNANHEIT (1) five-start Maiden close to breaking through. Savaged the line from last on the turn with a nose second over 1000m at Queanbeyan. Looking for this trip and the lugging bit goes on. MR MAGNIFICENCE (6) returns from a lengthy break and can surprise fresh. SUGGESTED PLAY: Makhachev gets the right set-up today.
