GOING: S(5)

GREAT NORTHERN BENCHMARK 55 Handicap 1600m

Track: SOFT 5   Clouds (Max: 28)   Rail: Out 2.5m Entire. (Pent: 5.57).

Solid tempo with Free Carry leading from Cumin Spinner and Son Of Satono. Looks a wide-open affair to close out the card. ALL THE SHOPS (2) is racing in fine form with a win and three placings from his past four starts with that victory coming over this track and trip two back. Winning hoop Butler is back in the saddle and should be right there when the judge calls a halt. GENERAL WOLFFE (9) doesn't win out of turn but got the chocolates at the latest effort and should be high on confidence following that outing. Can go back-to-back. CUMIN SPINNER (15) has placed four of five here at this circuit and gets in well at the weights with the 1.5kg claim. In the mix. CITY PLAYBOY (10) broke the maiden status last start and will be rock-hard fit for this. Can be competitive again. I'M BLUEY (5) next in line from the favourable draw. SUGGESTED PLAY: All The Shops to win.
