It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. She will love the rise to 1800m and in this field, she should go one better. FLYING HAFLA (7) ran a fair race on debut when finishing fourth here over 1450m on the Inside course. She would have come on from the run and will enjoy the extra distance on offer. With the natural improvement that is expected, she could be the one to fill the exacta spot behind the top pick. ENCHANTED ROYAL (2) showed improvement in her last start over 2000m at the Vaal. Apprentice Nirvan Nastili retains the ride and if confirming her recent improvement, she should figure in the finish again. BUTTERNUTENROOIWYN (1) battled on well enough to finish fifth in the same race behind the third choice last time out. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish. Include in all combinations.
