Early speed assured from Grand Camellia, Solomon and Maggie Moon locking horns ahead of Best Royal. SOLOMON (6) faced the starter for the first time and was well supported but could only manage fourth last start at Tokyo over 1800m, beaten 3 lengths. Will improve and looks well placed. ANGE HARDI (4) produced a nice effort on debut in better company last start over 1200m at Hakodate when third, beaten 1.5 lengths. Will benefit from that experience so she will prove tough to beat. VEILED IMPACT (1) debuted four weeks ago when he finished fourth over 1200m at Hakodate, beaten 1.75 lengths. Open to improvement and can feature. GRAND CAMELLIA (3) has filled a minor placing at both runs to date, the latest when beaten 2.5 lengths into second over 1200m at Hakodate. Should enjoy a good run just off the speed. Deserves respect.
