They should really hum along here over the 1000m journey. SAKHALA IS'CATHULO (2) showed good improvement in his last start here over this distance. He showed good speed that day before getting caught late. It is encouraging that Piere Strydom is booked to ride and the combination may be hard to peg back. On top. GOLDEN CHANDELIER (4) is better than her last start over 1100m on this course. She won her only attempt here over this distance and is worth another chance. Each way. IN THE ETHER (6) has finished fourth in her last three starts. Three of her five career victories have come over this distance. The 6-year-old mare will be mowing down the frontrunners at the finish and could even have the last say. JOHN WICK (1) is better than his last two starts suggest. He has dropped in the ratings and with S'manga Khumalo back in the saddle, he may be the one to cause the upset. Don't drop him yet. Each way value.
