No noted leader on paper but Spec Of Silver has enough dash to take up the running despite the wide gate. CONVERTOR (1) was second on debut and then finished fourth as favourite last start, both runs came on this track and he has the blinkers on third up. Hard to beat this time. TYMON (8) has needed time to mature and has changed stables since finishing fourth at Mildura in April and should be a lot stronger this time in. He has a handy gate and even though this trip will be short of his best, he can still make his presence felt. A market watch is advised. ONE SHOT MORE (10) is another ex-Victorian who was thereabouts in her last couple of starts over 2 months ago, the most recent of them being a fourth at Wangaratta. She is capable of a top 3 finish with the right run. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Convertor.
