Pace genuine with Buffalo Rise and Settei Roku pressing hard closely followed by Minimal Design and Yodono Gold. SETTEI ROKU (3) has not been sighted since she scored over 1000m at Kokura Dirt on February 10. Promising filly who should come back bigger and better this prep. Expecting a bold showing. YODONO GOLD (4) finds it hard to win with just one success from 26 starts. Was again denied last start when he found a couple better over 1000m at Hakodate Dirt. Placed to advantage and can make his presence felt. BUFFALO RISE (11) broke through for his maiden win over 1000m at Hakodate Dirt last time, scoring comfortably. Jumps from a wide draw but he cannot be underestimated. SWITCH ON (1) worked home well and finished third last time over 1000m at this track, beaten 5.5 lengths. Will trim down following recent racing. Nicely placed to run well again.
