The speedy Battle Commander should find the front with Timeless Gem on his heels. GLASGOW LASS (4) resumes today following an impressive debut effort back in January before heading to the paddock. She's been purchased by Yulong since then and she's trialled impressively in readiness for today. She looks to be well above average and she can go 2/2 today. LANO (2) put up a good figure when winning here on debut 21 days ago and drops back to 1200m today. He loses Pike, but he should get every chance from the alley and the debut rating stacks up nicely in this field. He's the main danger. TIMELESS GEM (3) resumed with a good win at Pinjarra (S) after being caught wide and without cover. Suspect he's come on from that effort and while he may need luck again from the draw, he's proven he's a tough nut to crack. OVERDRIVE (7) wasn't far away last start and looks ready for this trip now. Can play a major role. BATTLE COMMANDER (1) is never far away and is worth including. SUGGESTED PLAY: Glasgow Lass can return a winner.
